DigiComm takes the protection of your personal data very seriously and strictly observes the statutory data protection requirements. Personal data are only collected on this website to the extent it is technically necessary to do so. Under no circumstances shall the data collected be sold or passed on to third parties for any other reason.

The following provides an overview of how we ensure this protection, what type of data is collected and the reasons for this.

Data processed on this website

DigiComm automatically collects and saves information transmitted to us by your browser in server log files. This information relates to:

  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL (the previous page)
  • Host name of the computer accessing the site (IP address)
  • time of server request

DigiComm cannot attribute this data to specific individuals. This data is not combined with other data sources. In addition, data is deleted after being analysed for statistical purposes.

DigiComm protects your personal data against unauthorized access, use or publication. DigiComm ensures that the personal data saved by you on the server is stored in a controlled, secure environment that prevents unauthorized access and publication.

Transfer of your data

DigiComm does not pass your personal data on to third parties unless this is necessary for order processing purposes. The data transferred is limited to the minimum required. Matomo (formerly Piwik)

This website uses Matomo, an open source application to statistically analyse user access. Matomo uses “Cookies” – text files that are saved on the user’s computer and enable analysis of how the website is used. The information generated by the cookie about how this website is used is saved on the provider’s server in Germany. The IP address is anonymised as soon as it is processed and before it is saved. Users can prevent the installation of cookies with the appropriate setting in their browser software. However, the provider points out that in this case, they may possibly not be able to fully use all of the functions of this website.

Google Maps

We integrate “Google Maps” services of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA into our website. The data processed there may specifically include IP addresses and location data of the users, however, these are not collected without their consent (as a general rule, within the scope of settings on their mobile devices).
